The main branch of the Boston Public Library is located in Copley Square. In addition, there are 27 neighborhood branches. Comprising two grand buildings, the Central Library houses a diverse collection, including fine arts literature, audiovisual materials, government documents, children's books, music, newspapers and periodicals, prints and photographs, rare books and manuscripts, and special collections.
